Camera Angles, and Movements:  Many camera angles are used in the making of an old school rap music video. 1 . In our research, we found that many eye-level angles are used to show the artist talking, or rapping to the camera.  2.  Next, low angles are used to show the artist looking down on the camera, as they dance or rap 3.  Wide shots are used to show groups of people in sometime a mob, to get the meaning of a message, or match the lyrics in an old school rap song. 4 . Tilts are used in old school rap music videos. 5 . Finally, close ups are are an important movement that is used in this genre because it shows the audience how the subject can sometimes feel dazzed or confused when something important happens in the music videos.                                                                                sound 1.  scores are used and are typically the old school rap song that the music video is based upon. 2 .   My group is going to do a music video, that is based off of generally having a great day! Full of adventure, using the clean version, and parts of "It Was A Good Day" By Ice Cube! The Music video will feature activities like basketball, waking up, and eating breakfast. Costumes: For costumes, our group will be using clothing that is somewhat athletic for a basketball scene, pajamas for waking up out of bed, and casual cloths throughout the rest of the music video. Props: Out team will be using some different props throughout filming. Basketballs, plates, silverware, food or traditional breakfast items are some of the items that will be used throughout our music video. Sound/music: We will use "It Was A Good Day" by Ice Cube for our main sound device throughout almost the entire music video. However, the only other sound there will be is a simple alarm clock noice in the beginning of the video. Our song of choice, correlates with our music video to show our audienc

My group is made up of 4 members. Ava Kanter, Charles Worth, Nicholas Pearlman, and Wren Ruby. I will be doing most of the drawing in our storyboard. I have a bit of experience in drawing and enjoy doing it. I have been drawing sketches as long as i can remember. I am very happy i get to put this to use. I think that out actors will be Wren and Nicolas as they are both athletic which can be useful for a music video. For example, Wren is on the volleyball team and knee pads can be advertised for this occasion. Charles has a talent in editing and will most likely be in charge of it. He knows how to combine clips, cut clips, and make transitions as needed. He is also very creative and always has now ideas flowing. This will be very helpful while brainstorming. Wren and I can help in filming and are able to get the angles we need. Nicholas is a helpful all around team member, he has knowledge in all areas and will be able to help another in need of it. He is a good planner and will know h

My Name is Ava Kanter and I'm in AICE Media Studies AS Level. I am 15 years old and a sophomore. I'm very excited to be blogging about my journey through this class. This is where i will be posting all my blogs for the year. I've always has a great interest in films and media, now I get to experience making them with my friends. I have a decent amount of experience in drawing which will be helpful with our story boards. I have always had an interest in editing too and have wanted to learn more, which is another reason why i wanted to take this class. I will also be able to improve on my filming skills in this class. I have always been the photographer friend when my friends wanted to post on Instagram. Now I can actually know what kind of picture I'm taking. Knowing the filming terms will her me in the future whether it will be what kind of angles my friends want their pictures at, or if I'm just watching a movie. It's cool to be able to apply this kind of kn
