MY CCR

My Music Video

This was my second time working together with the same group. I improved greatly from when i first started this class. I needed to improve more from our commercial since i learned so much and I can say that was accomplished. I am very proud of how my music video turned out and the learning experience that came with it. This music video shows that my skills in this class are growing. It prepared me for any media projects in the future. I had so much fun working with my group members while creating this video. I made so many memories with them and they made it easy since we distributed the work evenly. It was an overall great experience that I gained. I will definitely be working with them sometime in the future.

Filming Last Three Scenes and Editing

Scenes 10-12 and editing On December 10th, my group and I filmed scenes 10-12 for my music video. Charlie, Nick, Wren and I filmed these scenes at Charlie's house. The props we used for these scenes was a phone and a bed. For the 10th scene, my group and I showed Charlie's phone showing texts about how we had a good day. We wanted the audience/viewers to see that my group and I truly had fun in this video. For the 11th scene, my group and I filmed Charlie thinking about all the fun he had in a flashback memory of the day. This scene only took one shot since it was two seconds and easy to film. For the 12th scene, we filmed Charlie going to sleep smiling. This scene was at his house and it only took one shot. This was out last day filming for the music video so we made the best out of it.  Since we finished filming, it is time to edit the scenes to make the music video. My group and I finished the editing in one night. Charlie and Nick are the ones with editing skills. It took t

Beginning to Film

On December 2, my group and I began filming out music scenes. My group and I were all available to film today. We filmed the first 3 scenes out of the 12 today for our music video. I was at my group members house for the first two scenes. I was helping film, along with my two other group members while Charles was acting. Charlie has all the props at his house. The first scene I filmed was him sleeping, and then his alarm clock goes off. He wakes up happy and smiling while the song starts playing in the background. It took about 15 minutes to get this shot but we got it right. Then next scene I helped film was in the kitchen. Charles was making breakfast that include eggs, bacon, and juice. Since the song talks about breakfast, my group and I wanted to include a scene that goes along with the song. This scene was easy to film for me since it was simple. My group and I were walking around talking about our day. We had happy facial expressions to reprsent our song. Wren and I filmed thi

Scenes 7-9 On December 8th, my group and I filmed scenes 7-9 for the music video. My group members and I filmed these scenes at the 7-11 and Nick's house. Nick and Charlie were in scenes 7 and 8 while Wren and I were filming. Nick's brother was in scene 9. The props used in these scenes were slurpees, pizza, and a TV. For the 7th scene, Nick and Charlie are walking into a 7-11 talking and having a good time. Wren and I were filming these scenes while Nick and Charles played as the actors. This scene took a while because we had to wait for the door to be vacant since people were coming in and out of the 7-11. We also has a 2nd part to this scene since my group members and I were filming walking out of a 7-11. We chose to go to the 7-11 because the song mentions 7-11 so it will fit in. In the next scene, Charlie and Nick got items from 7-11 such as slurpees and pizza, while I filmed with Wren.  My group and I showed Charlie and Nick filling up Slurpee cups and getting pizza. Thi

Scenes 3-6 On December 6th, me and my group filmed scenes 3-6 for the music video. Me and my group members filmed these scenes. Me and Wren filmed these scenes at the park. Charles and Nick acted in the scenes while Wren and i filmed the scenes. The props we used was a basketball, and a water bottle. For the third scene, Nick showed up to the basketball court with my basketball in my hand, and he saw a pickup game going on, he points as if he would jump in the game. Wren, Charles, and I were filming Nick. This scene was no trouble for us and it only took one attempt. Since the song mentions basketball, me and my group wanted to have some basketball scenes involved. The next scene, Wren and I filmed Charles and Nick in 1 vs 1 basketball. Nick pretended to guard Charles, they wanted it to look like they were having fun playing in basketball. We had to wait around 20 minutes for the courts to clear so we can film the scene. It took us a couple tries to get a good shot. For the next scene,
